SaaS and search engine for contracts with the Peruvian State.
In 2020, the start-up Second Wind developed its first project, Contrata, a digital product to automate and facilitate the search for contracts with the Peruvian State, considering that the SEACE portal is difficult to understand as well as unintuitive.
To present the MVP it was necessary to have a landing page that showed the functions that the product offered, for which I was hired as a UI designer.
I started the project by choosing the colors that Contrata would use, choosing a mustard yellow that was located between the dark yellow of SEACE and the light yellow of Yellow Pages (Páginas Amarillas), generating involuntary association in the users.
To give chromatic harmony to the yellow, azure blue and mint green were chosen as complementary colors.
In the upper section of the landing page is its contract search engine with a minimal interface similar to that of Google to, again, generate involuntary association in visitors: Contrata is the Google of contracts with the Peruvian State.
The word “contract” is repeated three times in the above the fold. This was done so that, whichever direction the user looked, the word “contract” would be one of the first things they noticed.
On the other hand, below the fold of the page the characteristics of Contrata are presented, starting with the product description.
This first section of the landing page focused on showing the easiest-to-understand features of Contrata.
Then the two most advanced features are shown for experienced users.
This section was highlighted with a sterile blue color to give a high-tech feel.
Finally, I placed the price list, a call to action, and the footer.
The third option of the price list was highlighted to suggest that this is the recommended option and the one that gives the best value to the user.
Contrata is still in the development stage. However, the search engine is now available on its website as a demo.
